What Breeds Are Your Cattle
Our mama cows are Brahman based females. Florida Ranchers determined many years ago the brahman cow was the best breed of cow suited for our Florida environment. They are heat tolerant and very adaptable to our southern region of Florida. We then breed these mamas to high performing Angus, Charolais, or Hereford bulls based on the cows in on herd and our goals for each.
Are you cattle pastured raised?
Beyond popular belief our cattle, like many ranchers’ cattle, are in pasture most of their lives. Take the mama’s, they are on pasture all their lives eating grass in our fields. These cattle are supplemented minerals and vitamins year-round and during the winter months of the year with cane molasse and typically other by products from other man related production systems like cotton seed, distillers’ grain as two examples. Then comes the calves, they are typically by their mother’s side 6-9 months then weaned and go to the next segments in the cattle industry backgrounder/stocker, grower.

What do you feed your cattle?
After our calves are weaned and off their mothers it all depends on the weight of the calves to know what they are fed. Beyond popular believe cattle are not just fed grains. Every diet for cattle is designed with an abundance of forage (Harvested grass) to help the animal grow and gain weight optimally based on their body weight and best for each individual animal by their weight class. Just like we try to apply a balanced diet for our children and ourselves.
A common fact is that 87% of cattle livestock feed is nonedible by products of our human food production system. While only 13% of the cattle diet is comprised of grains. Therefore, the Beef Animal is an up cycler of our human food products that if not fed would end up in land fills and would become more of an environmental burden as our human population grows. So thank GOD he designed the beef animal its ability to help us with our food by products.
Do you use the mRNA vaccine?
“There are no current mRNA vaccines licensed for use in beef cattle in the United States. Cattle farmers and ranchers do vaccinate cattle to treat and prevent many diseases, but presently none of these vaccines include mRNA technology.”
Can you Ship?
Yes we can ship!
The shipping cost would be calculated based on your location and package weight during checkout process.
We normally ship UPS Next Day Air service due to the nature of the meat product and they are shipped in foam coolers. You will also have a option of choosing UPS Ground if your location is close.
The meat will be shipped in frozen status though they are freshly cut.
How long it takes to process the order?
If you choose to ship. For regular individual cuts, expect generally 4-5 days for us to prepare and ship your order.
For ordering a bundle package such as a half cow, please allow 2-3 weeks as we process the order. A bundle package can only be picked up at our farmer's market locations
If you are picking up individual cuts (not bundle package) at our farmer's market locations, your order can be available the immediate coming weekend if you order before the same Thursday.
